Going Green with ScrapbookingThis is the time of year my mailbox is flooded with catalogs. I recycle them, but recently I had another idea: Why not use them as an album base for a scrapbook? See, I'm always hearing people say that scrapbooking is expensive. I don't believe it has to be. So I created this "green" recycled memory album. I used a 7 1/2" by 10 1/2" catalog, which came stapled together down the centerfold, and a kit I bought at Kmart for less than $5. I also added two silk "fall" leaves I found on the ground outside of Michaels. (Yes, I really am that cheap.) Here's how it works:
